I don't know if there's a story to go with this but I'm starting to formulate one in my head.
Cas is a very respected ship captain with the galactic government, he's one successful mission away from being promoted to admiral of the whole fleet. The mission they give him is this: There's a bounty hunter going around, working on the fringes and taking out a lot of people that the government needs alive (informants, officials, etc.). Cas is charged with taking out this bounty hunter. An easy mission, he's go this promotion in the bag.
He tracks the bounty hunter, an awesome game of cat and mouse s he chases him through the stars (thats about where the picture is i think, dean's got this shadow.) Eventually Cas finds the bounty hunter, who, after an epic fight scene, gets captured. What Cas doesn't realize is that he's this hunter's next target.
So then Dean's in cas's prison, except hes not. He got out and is now sneaking to Cas's room to go and take him out. They talk, dean tells cas some sob story about why he doesnt trust the government, cas tells dean how hes misguided, that the people hes working for are /way/ worse. they end up teaming up to break down the crime circle and the oppressive government, freeing the galaxy from the their influence.
They end up together, the end.
I'm sorry if I broke any unwritten laws by posting this or somehting, i totally do not mean to distract from this awesome piece of art (seriosuly only the /really/ good stuff inspires me to write things like this so go you *high five* )
"Excuse me, Sir?" one of the lesser officers had entered the office when Castiel had been going over battle strategies, though if it had suprised him he didn't show it. "What is it?" He asked, annoyed at the interruption. The officer flinched- Castiel was famous for his strict punishment. His obediance to the rules meant he expected others to follow suit. "S-sir! It's the expert you sent for, sir!" "Why didn't you send him up already, soldier?" Castiel growled. The officer tried to focus on his feet, mustering up his courage to deliver the bad news. "Sir, it seems he disobeyed orders and brought the second expert with him." "He had direct orders to not bring his brother." "Ye-yes, sir. He said he...he said he doesn't take orders from anyone." Castiel gestured to the door, and the officer didn't need a second offer- he dashed out, tripping over the edge of a desk on the way.
"I'd heard he was rebellious, but I assumed he'd still respect orders coming from such high up officers." Castiel thought, rubbing his forehead absently, as if expecting a headache to appear soon enough. He remembered the reports he'd read on the expert, Dean, and of his brother. The two were close, if he remembered right- but Dean had obeyed his father, and Sam, the younger, had not. The passing of their father had brought the two closer together, which didn't bode well for Castiel. Sam would be trouble- if reports were accurate, he was talented in the enemy's way of fighting, and it was likely he was infected. He could turn to the otherside at any time, and if he was on Castiel's ship, the whole army could go down.
Castiel felt like sending up a prayer, but ever since the mind-link had been set up for quick communication, the leaders were getting hit with the prayers all the time- it seemed the format was too similar to trying to send messages to the higher officers.
So he just stood, grumbling to himself, and left to deal with the troublesome Dean.
I saw this and couldn't help but start writing. Hope you don't mind~ I'll stop writing it if it doesn't match your image for what should happen.
You do great, I want a Dean "Han Solo" Winchester, dealing with serious captain Castiel, and rebelling together against the Dark Empire... *dreaming*
I like those ships of yours, and Dean outfit is cool (except for the boots... sorry, I think they're kind of weird ). I'm interested by those devices Dean is using. And Cas is... well he's hot in uniform, obviously.
When I was going through my little deviation alerts and saw this epicness I was like, "What the hell is this shit?" before i even clicked on it... lol i didn't say that because it looked bad, btw. I said it because i couldnt believe the awesomeness i was about to click on.
